“You can turn off the sun,
but I’m still gonna shine!”
I am the Senior Manager, Learning and Development at Cydcor. We have been updating our system with new software so currently, as part of the Learning and Development Department, I work with our sales professionals to train them on the system and teach them best practices. I conduct trainings in groups and one-on-one settings, through webinars, as well as onsite. I have the pleasure of visiting our sales offices all around the country and meeting our sales representatives in person!
Cydcor’s foundation is built on personal development and mentorship. I think that makes the company incredibly special and unique. There is a passionate and knowledgeable network of people within the company. Everyone is driven to help you, and they make themselves available to you. Your successes and triumphs are shared with the team members that helped build you up. I played competitive sports growing up, and working at Cydcor feels just like being on a team.

Over the last three years, I've received mentorship and guidance from multiple team members and have learned invaluable skills from them. I've been pushed to take more risks, even if they result in occasional mistakes, and to take on more responsibilities, which has helped me grow personally and professionally. There is a nourishing team culture here that I thrive on and that has helped me grow.
Growing up, I didn't know what I wanted to do, but I always knew I wanted to help people and make them smile. My favorite part about working at Cydcor is the people. We are a people-helping-people business, and that is what gets me going every morning. There are a lot of people in this organization that I owe a lot to, and that fuels me to give back.

I love the team aspect of the business and that the business is built on hard work and effort, not just talent. Anyone can start in the business and make a great life for themselves—all they need is perseverance and the will to keep working and learning.
